MENTORED PRIVATE PRACTICE NEW GRADUATE FULL TIME POSITION

Excellent career opportunity exists for a Full Time New Graduate Physiotherapist to work in a private practice clinic in Cowra NSW. An attractive package will be negotiated including support for continuing education, mentoring and generous remuneration package.

Affordable accommodation is available of various kinds and assistance will be offered in finding accommodation as needed. The practice has been established for 19 years and continues to grow. It currently employs 4-5 physiotherapists.

The practice offers a varied caseload of private clientele, sports injuries, Work Cover injuries, post-operative orthopaedic rehabilitation, DVA clients, paediatrics, aged care and Medicare clients. The practice is modern, fully computerised, has a gym and small Pilates studio.

Cowra is a town of 12,000 residents located two hours North West of Canberra, three and a half hours West of Sydney, one hour South of Orange and one hour West of Bathurst

 

CRITERIA:

• A Bachelor or Masters degree in Physiotherapy and current Australian Registration.

• Background/Interest in manual therapy and exercise based therapy.

• Caring, confident, enthusiastic and professional manner.

• Solid commitment to continuous improvement with an enthusiasm for learning.

• Patient centred approach.

 

The successful applicant will be offered instruction in a wide range of Clinically superior techniques.

The successful applicant will have regular case conferences, inservices and help as required on site. There will also be a substantial continuing education budget assigned. In addition to developing superior clinical skills the successful applicant will learn advanced communication skills and the secrets to succeeding as a Private Practice Physiotherapist. Learn from a Physiotherapist with 20 years of experience, a previous Physiotherapist in charge of an Area Health Service and previous Director of the Private Practice Success Group.
